I decided that this account should stay furry-only, since that's what majority of the watchers are here for anyway. Any future concept works (or just, any digital work that isn't furry) will be submitted to my new/old account, OhaxNuv. OhaxNuv is the code-name for a long running challenge/project that I'm participating in, but will also serve to showcase my general digital works.

It's not a big deal and probably doesn't affect anyone reading this, but I thought I would put it out there, because I will soon be removing all the non-furry art, to keep this account clear and concise (i.e. furry-only). Because of my position within the game team (sole/lead concept artist) combined with other projects that I'm trying to initiate, I wouldn't expect too much action from this account through the summer. I'll still upload what I got when I can, because I enjoy drawing furry over anything else.

But for future reference, OhaxNuv is everything that this account is not. Kthx

I recently applied for (and got) a position as a concept artist for a local game project. Currently I'm under an evaluation period, where I basically show off what I can do, and hope there's enough effort shown to prove my usefulness to the team.

Unfortunately this is also my 2-week cram period to catch up in school and make up all my finals. This basically means I get to draw nonstop for the rest of the month, and hope that over break some things will settle down, before I jump right back into things.

Basically I'm either going to be posting a lot, or none at all. I would love to makeup everything I promised to everyone, but time simply will not allow it, and I have to prioritize my time more efficiently. For the time being I'm working mainly on my traditional work--which does not get uploaded here--but as I develop some stronger concepts, perhaps even start a portfolio, I will continue to post both furry and non-furry work here.

Only time will tell where I go with my work, it's all I can do to keep trying to improve. Hope you're all having a great spring.

If you couldn't already tell, I'm starting up a new drawing regime, that basically requires I draw something (with some form of effort) each day. I won't upload everything I come up with--partially because some of it's personal, partially because most of it's just failed attempts at something else. But for what it's worth, I'll upload whatever tidbits strike my fancy, or that I think would be enjoyed.

No, I'm not taking requests for these--I still owe others their pictures from last year. No, they won't always be furry. As much as I love the fandom, I have to start focusing more on my concept art. I need to improve with character development, though I still want to master coloring half-decent environments as well.

So don't be surprised if you see a few more scraps than usual, or if I start throwing out random characters/designs. It's all just a means of improving. And as always, I appreciate all constructive criticism.

In my last journal I said I'd start taking requests, but what I failed to mention is that this is a queue that I won't get to until next year. Yea, it's kind of a long wait, but I have too much going on in my personal life to draw much, outside of what's needed for class.

So here's the last chance to request something. I will get to everything eventually, but this is still probably a 1-2 month wait. Note that I will not be taking any requests, starting in 2009, except from people I personally know. I will be starting portfolio work and random personal projects; enough that I don't think I'd be able to fill any more requests.

So, last call. If you want something, leave a comment, send a note, or hit me up on any of the messengers. I'll be starting on these in the new year, but won't accept any new requests during that time. Hope you all have a happy holiday.

Just throwin a bone to people that can't or don't want to afford commissions of their fursonas (or whatever, really). Can't say I'm magnificent or anything, but I am opening up requests, under some bogus conditions, for more bogus reasons.

Conditions
- I will only draw the suggestions that inspire/intrigue me. No offense to the people requesting anything, but I simply do not like to draw something that I'm not motivated to draw.
- I may ask to add a completely random theme, just to make it interesting.
- I have no deadline for finishing any request.
- Quality will vary. It's all about how far I feel like taking the picture, at the time of drawing it.
- No yiff period. Other adult themes discouraged, but not out of the question.

Reasons
I have way too much time on my hand.
I need more excuses to skip homework.
Trying to experiment with different drawing/coloring techniques.
Trying to experiment with different angles and perspectives.
Need the practice anyway.
